Senior Back-End Engineer (.NET & Odoo)

About the role

Newfire Global Partners is a technology firm focused on transformative software for healthcare and enterprise clients. The senior back‑end engineer will work on modernising a luxury‑retail client’s Microsoft‑centric ecosystem, including Dynamics GP and Odoo, while improving existing production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend services using C# and .NET.
• Develop and support REST APIs and integrations between enterprise systems, internal applications and third‑party platforms.
• Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and data workflows.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data issues and production incidents.
• Support the health of the Microsoft Dynamics GP ecosystem and gradually take ownership of Odoo customisations.
• Improve reliability, maintainability and performance of existing systems.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with C#/.NET and relational databases (SQL, stored procedures).
• Proven experience building and maintaining REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Ability to resolve technical debt and work independently on production systems.
• Willingness to learn Python, Odoo and Microsoft Dynamics GP quickly.
• Excellent English communication skills.
