Senior Audit Analyst

About the role

Visteon is seeking a Senior Audit Analyst to join its Internal Controls team in Palmela, Portugal. The role focuses on supporting Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance, risk assessments, and the overall integrity of financial reporting within a global automotive technology leader.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Internal Controls Manager in planning and executing SOX testing and remediation activities.
• Review journal entries for accuracy and compliance with internal control standards.
• Develop and maintain policies, narratives, and procedures related to internal controls over financial reporting.
• Document financial and business process flows, emphasizing SOX compliance.
• Support management’s SOX risk assessment, scoping, and control mapping activities.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit engagements.
• Perform follow‑up procedures to verify implementation of audit recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in audit, accounting, or internal control functions.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or CIA preferred.
• Experience in a Big 4 environment working with SOX controls is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial reporting systems (e.g., QAD, SAP, OneStream).
• Familiarity with Data Analytics tools.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
