Senior Aeronautical Engineer – Aircraft Design & Flight Dynamics

About the role

Tekever is seeking a senior aeronautical engineer to lead the design and development of next‑generation UAVs. You will own the full aircraft lifecycle, from concept and sizing through detailed design, flight testing and certification readiness, while acting as the technical reference for the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end aircraft design, including conceptual, preliminary and detailed aerodynamic studies for new UAV configurations.
• Provide senior‑level expertise in stability, control and flight dynamics analysis to ensure inherent airframe stability.
• Guide the creation, tuning and validation of high‑fidelity 6‑DOF flight simulation models and support System Identification (SysID) flight test campaigns.
• Collaborate with structures, propulsion and avionics groups to resolve system‑level challenges and drive market‑ready products.
• Mentor engineering colleagues, act as a technical sounding board and promote best‑practice methodologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of industry experience in aircraft design and flight dynamics, with a proven record on a complete aircraft program.
• Deep knowledge of flight dynamics, stability & control, handling qualities, stability derivatives and 6‑DOF equations of motion.
• Experience in mission modelling, flight performance analysis, aircraft sizing and optimisation.
• Ability to define, trace and validate technical requirements against aerospace standards and regulations.
