Senior Accounting Auditor

About the role

Quanteam, a consulting firm specialized in Banking and Financial Services, is seeking a Senior Accounting Auditor to strengthen its accounting control framework across multiple regions and entities. The role combines oversight of control plans, interaction with regional finance teams, and participation in internal committees to ensure robust financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the Group Accounting Control Plan and related control plans are correctly implemented, monitored, and maintained across assigned regions.
• Perform oversight reviews of accounting control set‑ups, identify deficiencies, and report them to stakeholders.
• Conduct LOD2 controls over Head Office central teams and verify compliance with Infinity Platform procedures.
• Obtain, analyse, and review accounting certifications from regions and entities, reporting key issues and defining remediation actions.
• Monitor recommendations from internal audit, regulators, and external auditors, and follow up on remediation timelines.
• Lead regular Internal Control Committee meetings to discuss accounting control issues and contribute to the Accounting and Financial Risk Committee.

Required profile

• Experience in finance, accounting control, or audit, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) at B2+ level.

• Gross annual salary ranging from €24,500 to €38,500, based on experience.
