Senior Accountant

About the role

Salsify is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join its fast‑growing finance team. The role focuses on balance‑sheet stewardship, month‑end close, and the implementation of new accounting systems to support the company’s scaling from $100M to $500M.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close activities, including journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and accruals in line with US GAAP.
• Perform variance analysis on balance‑sheet and income‑statement accounts.
• Prepare schedules for financial statements and support the annual audit.
• Assist with international accounting tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Marketing, Services, Engineering and other departments to ensure accurate general‑ledger postings.
• Review AP invoices and work with the accounts‑payable team on proper accounting treatment.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects for the Corporate Controller and Assistant Controller.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior capacity.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
