Salesforce Development Manager

About the role

Prodapt is seeking an experienced Salesforce Development Manager to lead its Salesforce engineering team. In this strategic position you will own the end‑to‑end DevOps and release lifecycle, ensuring seamless, secure production deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and allocate resources for an on‑site team of Salesforce developers and administrators.
• Own the release management strategy, including sandbox‑to‑production environment planning, branching, and coordinated deployment windows.
• Establish and optimise CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce metadata and data tracking.
• Guide solution architecture, review Apex and LWC code, and enforce security and governance standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts and QA to translate business requirements into technical release schedules.
• Oversee sandbox synchronisation, environment refreshes and resolve deployment conflicts or rollbacks.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of hands‑on Salesforce experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or technical‑lead role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proven track record managing complex multi‑sandbox deployments using tools such as Copado, Gearset, Flosum or Salesforce CLI/SFDX with Git.
• Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flow automation and integration APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira.
• Excellent communication skills for managing technical talent and explaining deployment risks.
