Sales Executive – Hotel

About the role

Join Hilton’s Hotels team as a Sales Executive and help create memorable experiences for guests by driving new business and strengthening existing relationships. You will work across corporate, entertainment and sports segments, travelling throughout Portugal to represent the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business leads by analysing market trends and competitor activity.
• Grow and maintain customer accounts, identifying upsell opportunities.
• Negotiate rates, prepare contracts and secure group and corporate bookings.
• Develop and execute local marketing initiatives and represent the hotel at trade fairs and industry events.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Maintain detailed sales activity records and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Respond promptly to client enquiries to support conversion and satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in the hospitality or hotel industry.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently across Portugal.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Results‑oriented, organised and able to work independently.
• Proactive, commercially minded and passionate about developing new business.
• Ability to build long‑term relationships and work collaboratively with multiple hotel departments.
• Flexibility to adapt schedule to business needs.
