Sales Development Representative – French/German Speaker

About the role

Finastra is looking for a Sales Development Representative who can speak French or German to support revenue growth across its global financial‑services software portfolio. You will work closely with the sales team to qualify leads, engage prospects, and help position the right solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify marketing leads and turn them into sales opportunities.
• Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
• Build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with clients.
• Assist in managing client relationships and follow‑up activities.
• Collect and analyse data to support sales decisions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution.

Required profile

• Experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or a similar sales role.
• Hands‑on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling.
• Proficiency with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong listening and interpersonal abilities to understand client needs.
• Leadership qualities to provide recommendations and advice.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); a second language such as French, German or Spanish is a plus.
