Reliability Test Engineer - Hydraulics

About the role

Join Bosch Service Solutions in Lisbon as a Reliability Test Engineer focused on hydraulic components. You will design, execute, and document reliability and verification tests to ensure optimal performance of hydraulic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Create test plans and prepare test setups for hydraulic components.
• Execute pressure, leak, and performance tests, collecting and analysing data.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues such as leaks, low pressure, or component failures.
• Develop and implement corrective solutions based on root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain detailed records of test results, findings, and troubleshooting activities.
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Participate in the creation and review of reliability test procedures.
• Present test results and findings to development teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Hands‑on experience in laboratory testing, experimental setup assembly, and hydraulic system validation.
• Proven track record in product failure analysis and root‑cause troubleshooting of mechanical or fluid components.
• Deep understanding of fluid mechanics, hydraulic circuits, valves, pumps, and fluid‑power components.
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and experience with specialized measurement instruments and sensors.
