Regulatory Project Manager – DORA Implementation

About the role

We are seeking a Regulatory Project Manager to lead the implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) across multiple international entities. The role sits within a Cybersecurity & Operational Resilience team in Portugal and works at the intersection of cybersecurity, IT risk management and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate the DORA implementation roadmap, translating regulatory requirements into actionable plans.
• Monitor progress across entities, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed.
• Organise and facilitate workshops, governance sessions and steering committee meetings.
• Prepare executive‑level dashboards, reports and presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to implement DORA topics such as network segmentation, backup and recovery, third‑party risk monitoring and operational resilience testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing IT or cybersecurity‑related projects and delivering against milestones.
• Strong ability to produce executive reports and presentations.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical or regulatory concepts to diverse audiences.
