R2R Specialist (M&F)

About the role

The R2R Specialist will ensure cost‑effective operation of Record‑to‑Report activities, driving high performance and quality service within ALEBS, the business services arm of Air Liquide.

Key responsibilities

• Post all journal entries, execute legal reporting (VAT, Statistics, Central bank, Intrastat) and support finance business partners during year‑end.
• Open and close accounting periods, perform month‑close activities and manage balance‑sheet reconciliations, sub‑ledger to ledger reconciliations, and analysis of unjustified entries.
• Handle asset accounting, track investment orders and assets under construction, and record fixed‑asset transactions in line with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare, upload and verify IRIS reporting and consolidated packages, support the consolidation team, and ensure audit activities are completed on time.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or Economics.
• More than 4 years of experience in a similar R2R function, preferably in a Business Services Center or multinational environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of journal entry processing and legal reporting requirements (VAT, Intrastat, etc.).
• Experience with balance‑sheet reconciliation, sub‑ledger to ledger reconciliation, and asset accounting under GAAP/IFRS.
• Familiarity with IRIS reporting tools and ERP systems.
