Quality Control Technician Internship

About the role

CarboCode SA is seeking a motivated Quality Control Technician Intern to support laboratory operations in its Biocant Park facility. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, gaining hands‑on experience with state‑of‑the‑art analytical instrumentation while ensuring accurate and reliable data for R&D and production.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in routine chromatography analyses, including Gas Chromatography (GC) and High‑Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
• Perform classical wet‑chemistry methods such as titrations and spectrophotometric analyses.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and analytical standards.
• Support daily maintenance, verification, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Document analytical results accurately and contribute to data analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of analytical data.

Required profile

• Current MSc student in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related field.
• Theoretical knowledge or academic laboratory experience with chromatographic techniques and wet chemistry.
• Independent, structured, and proactive work style with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
