Quality Control and Metrology Technician

About the role

The Quality Control and Metrology Technician ensures that all in‑house and subcontracted components meet strict dimensional and quality standards. You will work closely with production teams to collect data, drive continuous improvement, and uphold industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform dimensional control of components produced internally or by subcontractors.
• Analyze and record dimensional and quality‑control data.
• Support innovation and continuous improvement of metrology and quality‑control processes.
• Carry out calibrations, tests, and detailed inspections on measuring instruments and industrial equipment.
• Maintain and repair measuring instruments to minimise unplanned downtime.
• Verify product and process compliance with industry regulations and standards, recommending corrective actions when needed.
• Promote a culture of quality throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Technological Specialization Course or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in quality control or metrology.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork orientation, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of metrology principles and practices.
• Familiarity with quality standards and technical drawing interpretation.
