Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to design, implement and maintain automated tests for our micro‑service architecture. You will work closely with development, DevOps and business teams to ensure high‑quality releases in a Kubernetes and Docker environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain integration tests across microservices, MongoDB and Kafka.
• Develop REST API test suites covering functional, negative, boundary and error‑handling scenarios.
• Implement BDD‑based API and integration testing using Karate, Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Create and maintain consumer‑provider contract tests with Pact.
• Build UI automation frameworks for Angular applications using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright and Appium.
• Integrate all test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and manage test data strategies for MongoDB and Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to execute automated tests in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Promote QA best practices, automation standards and BDD adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer working with microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive attitude and solid understanding of Agile methodologies and testing pyramids.
