QC Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented QC Analyst to support our cannabis production line on a maternity‑cover basis. The analyst will ensure that product quality meets the highest standards from plant visual assessment through laboratory testing and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑process analysis using approved methods to support quality assurance decisions.
• Assist with sampling activities for in‑process control testing.
• Accurately record analytical data and share results promptly with Operations and QA teams.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and ensure technical processes meet regulatory standards.
• Manage laboratory resources, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and service continuity.
• Draft and review laboratory documentation and study reports.
• Prepare and coordinate sample shipments to external laboratories to meet reporting deadlines.
• Maintain up‑to‑date cannabis flower movement records as required by Infarmed.
• Train new team members on laboratory procedures, analysis techniques, and record‑keeping practices.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma in Science or Technology.
• At least 1 year of experience in visual inspection of cannabis plants and supporting production operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across diverse teams.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good organizational skills.
