QA Manual Tester (French Mandatory)

About the role

We are seeking a QA Manual Tester who is fluent in French and English to join our Porto‑based team. The role involves creating and executing manual test cases for multiple client projects, ensuring high‑quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document and run functional, regression, exploratory and acceptance test cases based on technical and functional specifications.
• Use test‑management tools such as JIRA, TestRail or Zephyr to track test execution and defects.
• Report, track and communicate bugs clearly to development teams.
• Perform API testing with tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Validate data using basic SQL queries.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Support continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines and stay aware of test‑automation possibilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of experience as a manual QA tester.
• Fluent spoken and written French and English.
• Strong understanding of QA best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• JIRA, TestRail or Zephyr (test‑management tools).
• Postman, Swagger (API testing).
• SQL (basic data validation).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Awareness of Selenium or Cypress for test automation.
