QA Engineer – French Speaker (Hybrid, Portugal)

About the role

We are seeking a QA Engineer who is fluent in French to join our business investment banking and financial services project based in Portugal. The role is hybrid, allowing work from either Porto or Lisbon while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team delivering innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT and VBScript.
• Manage test assets in ALMQC (Opentext) and ensure version control with Bitbucket.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, XLR and XLD.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners in an Agile/Kanban environment.
• Provide training and mentorship on UFT and ALMQC tools to internal teams.
• Participate in technical support activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 6‑9 years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain test scripts.
• Fluent in French and proficient in English.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and remotely when required.
