QA Architect – Technical Owner of QA Test Center

About the role

The QA Architect is the technical owner of Devoteam’s QA Test Center offering. Working closely with the QA Manager, you will define and evolve the QA strategy, deploy and maintain the tooling stack, and act as the technical spokesperson in client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve the QA strategy, covering governance, test automation, AI adoption and best practices.
• Design, implement and maintain the technical architecture of the QA Test Center, including tools, integrations, environments and automation pipelines.
• Deploy, configure and evolve test management, automation, CI/CD, reporting and dashboard tools.
• Support the sales process by presenting the solution, preparing demos, proofs of concept and technical documentation.
• Assess existing client QA setups and adapt the offering to fit their current stack.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in QA/testing with a background in technical architecture or leadership.
• Proven track record of defining and implementing end‑to‑end test automation strategies.
• Client‑facing experience, including technical presentations and solution adaptation.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium.
• Test management tools like Azure Test Plans, Xray, TestRail or qTest.
• CI/CD platforms including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of AI applications for QA (test generation, defect analysis, self‑healing tests).
• Understanding of systems architecture, APIs, cloud environments and containers.
