Python Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join our team in a hybrid setting (2 days per week on‑site in Porto). You will work closely with international colleagues, especially the Paris‑based Credit Risk team, to develop, maintain and enhance our Ratings & LGD applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and test application components using Python and C#.
• Gather, document, analyse and manage requirements in an Agile environment.
• Analyse existing processes and propose performance improvements.
• Collaborate with international teams, facilitating workshops and communicating with business stakeholders.
• Contribute to the evolution of Ratings & LGD applications.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and international teams.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (mandatory).
