Python Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our international fintech project. The role is based in Lisbon and follows a hybrid work model, allowing collaboration with a high‑performing engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python‑based applications for fintech solutions.
• Build web services using Django, Flask or similar frameworks.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to store and retrieve data efficiently.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
• Write unit, integration and automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Deploy and operate services on cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerised environments using Docker and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience developing software with Python.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
• Ability to work autonomously, solve problems and communicate clearly within a team.
