Purchasing Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join Airbus GBS in Lisbon. The role supports ordering activities for procurement commodities across several European countries and involves operational sourcing and stakeholder support.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase requests and create or update purchase orders.
• Perform operational sourcing and provide service‑desk support to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain catalogue and other information records.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal customers, using Airbus ERP (SAP) and tools such as Coupa.

Required profile

• Experience in supply chain or procurement is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Ability to prioritize in emergencies and adapt to new tools.
• Fluent in English; French, Spanish or German are a plus.
• Reliability, rigor and concentration at work.
