Project Manager Officer (PMO) – Remote Europe (6‑month contract)

About the role

Bridge351 is seeking a Project Manager Officer (PMO) to support a strategic six‑month project for the European Commission. The role is fully remote within Europe and focuses on ensuring project governance, reporting and methodology compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess project maturity against the selected management methodology and advise on improvements.
• Maintain and enhance custom PPMO tooling (PowerBI, Power Automate, JIRA, SharePoint) for planning, status, risk reporting and portfolio‑level activities.
• Guide teams in applying the chosen methodology and review related deliverables.
• Support project managers in complying with IT governance rules.
• Participate in cost, schedule and resource estimation reviews.
• Prepare and track project plans, generate accurate reports and monitor deviations.
• Define and manage change‑control procedures, obtaining sponsor approval for revisions.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of PM methodologies (PM², PRINCE2, PMBOK, SCRUM); certifications are a plus.
• Excellent written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver high‑level presentations and facilitate meetings.
• Experience working in multicultural, international teams.
• Advanced English proficiency.
