Project Manager

About the role

Critical FlyTech, a joint venture between Airbus and Critical Software, is looking for a Project Manager to lead safety‑critical software projects across aviation, defence and space. You will be responsible for delivering high‑impact, real‑world aerospace solutions on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through closure, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality targets are met.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor project activities, resources and stakeholder engagement.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, manage change requests and capture opportunities.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and align project outcomes with business objectives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external customers to achieve project goals.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management or a related field.
• Proven experience managing projects in technology or engineering environments.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with proactive problem‑solving.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) – certifications are a plus.
