Project Manager - High Voltage Grid connection solution

About the role

Join Siemens Energy as a Project Manager responsible for delivering high‑voltage electrical substation projects that support the energy transition. You will guide projects from the tender stage through execution to final handover, collaborating with tender, finance and procurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of electrical substation projects from tender to handover.
• Manage contractual, commercial and technical aspects to optimise performance.
• Motivate and guide the project team, leveraging individual strengths.
• Prepare concise decision‑making materials for steering committees and senior management.
• Build strong relationships with customers and sub‑contractors through direct communication.
• Ensure QHSE, contract and site compliance for safety and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or power‑systems engineering.
• 5+ years of project‑management experience in high‑voltage substations or FACTS projects.
• Experience with construction contracts such as FIDIC.
• Knowledge of quality and HSE management concepts and tools.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; additional languages a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, willingness to travel.
• Preferred: advanced Microsoft Project and AutoCAD skills, PMP or IPMA certification.
