Project Manager for Aerostructures

About the role

Airbus Portugal is looking for a Project Manager to lead aerostructure projects, coordinating interfaces, budgets and timelines across internal and external partners. You will ensure projects are integrated into existing production processes while meeting quality, cost and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, agree and coordinate project interfaces with customers and internal departments.
• Prepare project profiles, service level agreements and detailed workload estimations.
• Plan and control order management, supplier engagement and detailed budget planning.
• Develop procedures, processes and industrialisation concepts, ensuring global agreement on requirements.
• Perform economic efficiency evaluations and risk assessments, introducing mitigation measures.
• Represent the project in reporting levels, conduct progress meetings and track costs.
• Coordinate sub‑projects, manage hand‑over documentation and provide expert advice on cross‑functional interfaces.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience in consulting, project management or a comparable role.
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects with high resilience and assertiveness.
• Strong team and communication skills, business‑fluent English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with G Suite.
• Basic accounting knowledge (business case development, actuals tracking, operational planning).
