Project Manager – Energy Projects

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of medium‑size energy projects. You will ensure that all activities comply with policy, contractual agreements, quality, health, safety, environment standards, financial targets, and schedule commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional project teams, set direction, allocate tasks and ensure milestone delivery.
• Define and execute comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget and risks.
• Monitor progress, resources and financial performance, including costs, invoicing and cash flow.
• Proactively manage risks and opportunities, driving mitigation and value creation.
• Act as primary contact for customers and stakeholders, maintaining transparent communication.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to secure materials/services and support negotiations, claims and changes.
• Ensure compliance with contract, quality and HSE standards and lead project closure with formal acceptance and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.
• More than 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in project management.
• Additional training in project management.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities, with a customer‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
