Project Manager – Construction

About the role

SmartProjects.pt – Smart Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high‑end residential and commercial construction projects in Quinta do Lago and the surrounding Algarve region. You will oversee each project from planning through handover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on‑site teams.
• Monitor quality, programme, and financial performance.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with Portuguese regulations and health & safety standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve project issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction project management.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem‑solving and leadership qualities.
• Fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Valid driving licence.
