Project Engineer – Storage Solutions

About the role

Based in Ovar, Portugal, you will join an international engineering team that creates customized racking and mezzanine solutions for a wide range of customers. You will translate customer requirements into technically sound layouts, calculations and cost estimates.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse RFQs and internal reports to define project scope.
• Design efficient technical solutions following industry standards, including 2D AutoCAD drawings, structural calculations and Bill of Materials.
• Prepare technical descriptions, cost estimates and ensure all project data is stored according to internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with other engineers to improve accuracy, quality and efficiency of designs.
• Act as a technical adviser to the sales team and participate in customer meetings when required.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Previous experience in structural design of metallic structures and static calculations (seismic knowledge is a plus).
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally for training.
• Proactive, autonomous with strong problem‑solving abilities.
