About the role

We are seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our team in San Juan, PR. The role focuses on analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing enterprise software solutions, and ensuring high‑quality deliverables that support organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business needs, document cases, and design software solutions while estimating effort, time, and cost.
• Develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML and related web technologies.
• Evaluate third‑party and internal solutions for cost‑effectiveness and alignment with standards.
• Document all phases of the solution lifecycle, including test cases and user training materials.
• Provide technical support for production issues and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with technical leaders to ensure solutions follow IS&T strategies and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise software/web development and relational database management.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Experience writing requirements and using web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XPATH, and Web Services.

Required skills

• Object‑oriented programming with Java and C# (J2EE design patterns).
• Relational databases: Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, including tools like Designer, TOAD, SQL*Plus, Explain Plan, DTS, Integration Services.
• Cloud platforms: Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory.
• Web development technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XPATH, Web Services.
