About the role

Internationalschools is looking for a dedicated English Professor to join our campus in Monte Maior. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high‑quality English instruction to upper secondary students, fostering academic growth and preparing learners for further education.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum and detailed lesson plans aligned with upper secondary standards, ensuring progressive skill development.
• Deliver engaging, interactive English lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and promote critical thinking.
• Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student achievements, areas for improvement, and classroom activities.

Required profile

• Hold a degree in education, English, or a closely related field.
• Possess a valid teaching certification and demonstrable experience teaching upper secondary or senior high students.

Required skills

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in English language and literature combined with effective instructional techniques.
• Excellent classroom management and clear communication abilities to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Proven capacity to engage and motivate upper secondary learners, encouraging participation and academic enthusiasm.
