Product Quality Associate – Supplier Quality

About the role
The Product Quality Associate will lead initiatives to ensure that supplier‑delivered components meet Amadeus' quality and reliability standards. You will drive small‑scale improvement projects, support process enhancements, and act as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead qualification of new suppliers, including quality system assessments and capability studies.
- Plan, conduct, and report on‑site and remote supplier audits (process, system, product) in line with ISO 9001.
- Manage incoming non‑conformance reports, driving 8D or A3 root‑cause analyses.
- Evaluate supplier responsibility in quality disputes and compile inspection records, test reports, and shipping documentation.
- Track supplier KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and maintain a supplier risk register.
- Identify and mitigate supply‑chain quality risks.
- Deploy lean and quality tools such as FMEA and Six Sigma across the supplier base.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Production and Operations to embed quality requirements from design through delivery.
- Maintain supplier quality records in ERP/QMS and ensure compliance with customer‑specific regulations.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality or a related function.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Proven experience conducting 2nd‑party supplier audits; Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
- Proficiency with 8D, A3, FMEA and Control Plans.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and QMS platforms.
- Strong analytical ability to translate inspection and test data into actionable conclusions.
- Fluent written English.
