Product Director – Higher Education & K‑12

About the role

Unit4 is seeking a Product Director to own the vision, strategy and roadmap for its Higher Education and K‑12 solutions. You will shape a market‑leading ERP platform that addresses the unique funding, compliance and operational challenges of universities, colleges and school boards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi‑horizon product roadmap aligned with Unit4’s platform strategy and growth targets.
• Lead a dedicated engineering team to build vertical depth that differentiates Unit4 in the education market.
• Collaborate with horizontal product teams to ensure end‑to‑end platform integration.
• Translate funding models, compliance obligations and user needs into concrete product features.
• Monitor market trends, especially AI‑driven innovations, and incorporate them into the product strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience building enterprise software for higher‑education institutions or K‑12 school boards.
• Deep understanding of education funding structures, regulatory compliance and operational workflows.
• Track record of shipping features that are actively used by finance, HR and research teams.
• Ability to balance AI‑enabled efficiency gains with data‑governance and accreditation standards.
