Product Design Engineer

About the role

As a Product Design Engineer within a global design engineering team, you will help shape the future of the organization by delivering innovative design solutions for cloud‑based environments and critical infrastructure projects. You will work closely with customers and internal functions to turn concepts into fully manufactured products, supporting the company’s growth and market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Support the global engineering strategy and develop tailored design solutions for cloud‑based environments.
• Provide engineering and design expertise, proposing creative solutions and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Collaborate with customers to capture design requirements and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
• Work cross‑functionally with project management, sales, R&D, engineering and manufacturing to integrate designs from concept to full‑scale production.
• Incorporate innovative technologies and sustainable engineering practices into product offerings.
• Lead conceptualization, visualization and prototyping of design projects.
• Develop and implement standardized engineering practices across regions.
• Maintain regular communication with the Lead Product Design Engineer, reporting performance, milestones and risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering or design role, preferably within data centre, construction or critical infrastructure sectors.
• Experience with modular or skid system design is an advantage.
