Procurement Manager – Sustainable CLT Manufacturing

About the role

Arolla is a vertically integrated CLT manufacturing and construction company seeking a hands‑on Procurement Manager to own the end‑to‑end purchasing function. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Procurement, you will source and manage suppliers for raw materials, production inputs, and services while upholding sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle from supplier identification and RFQs to negotiation, PO issuance, and goods receipt validation.
• Build and maintain an approved vendor list, conduct performance reviews, and develop strategic partnerships.
• Source timber, construction materials, technical components and services in line with quality and sustainability requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Architecture and Finance teams to forecast demand and prevent supply disruptions.
• Track all purchasing activity in the ERP system, ensuring data integrity from requisition to goods receipt.
• Monitor market trends, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and consolidate contracts.
• Assess supplier‑related risks and support vendor governance activities.
• Help develop procurement policies, approval workflows and internal controls to support scaling and compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing, construction or real‑estate development.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, including hands‑on experience with purchase order, inventory and reporting modules.
