Procurement and Inventory Specialist

About the role

The Procurement and Inventory Specialist supports the full procurement cycle, inventory control, and logistics coordination for Teksol Integration Group. The role demands strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a high volume of transactions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Request vendor quotations, prepare purchase orders, and obtain approvals following company procedures.
• Create and maintain vendor records in the system.
• Maintain communication with suppliers and track purchase‑related matters.
• Update purchase logs and monitor inventory of received supplies.
• Coordinate shipments to project managers and conduct periodic physical inventory audits.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset schedule, including depreciation tracking.
• Archive supporting documentation for all transactions.
• Assist with administrative duties, visitor reception, and special projects.
• Plan and execute weekly logistics routes for material movement.
• Support the accounting team with financial tasks and reconcile invoice discrepancies.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and meet all assigned deadlines.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience with purchase orders, invoicing, and inventory management.
• Construction industry knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (preferred) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership, organization, time‑management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with logistics terminology such as FOB, CIF, Lead Time, and Freight Forwarding.
