Process / Operations Engineer

About the role

Under general supervision, the Process/Operations Engineer provides technical support for process characterization, optimization, and troubleshooting across manufacturing, pilot plant, and capital projects, applying engineering principles to design system modifications and ensure reliable, compliant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques.
• Support daily operations, troubleshoot equipment/process issues, and audit performance and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop requirements, support project execution, and manage vendor quotes and project documentation.
• Assist with commissioning, decommissioning, asset lifecycle management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech processes and validation documentation requirements.
• Ability to interpret and apply GMP, GLP, and GDP principles.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience operating specialized laboratory or manufacturing equipment.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Technical documentation and record management in regulated environments.
• Basic technical report writing and presentation.
