Process & Industrialization Engineer – Combustion Solutions

About the role

As a Process & Industrialization Engineer you will drive continuous improvement and support the industrialization of new combustion solutions such as boilers and gas water heaters at Bosch's Aveiro site.

Key responsibilities

• Execute continuous‑improvement activities focusing on quality, safety, environment and efficiency.
• Conduct cost‑benefit analyses, prepare technical specifications and develop capacity studies for investment approval.
• Provide technical support to production, create documentation and validate production equipment.
• Develop DFMA guidelines, perform D‑FMEA and P‑FMEA analyses, and support supplier selection.
• Coordinate equipment and investment setup, run final validation tests and secure approvals.
• Monitor post‑SOP performance, ensure OEE targets are met and implement corrective actions.
• Identify and implement Industry 4.0 initiatives, integrating digital solutions into production equipment and KPI systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in industrialization, production engineering or process optimisation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and autonomous working style.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
