Process Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

ALTEN is looking for a Process Engineer to join its manufacturing team in Santo Tirso, Portugal. You will support production flow, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with aeronautical manufacturing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Attend all shop‑floor meetings and support problem‑solving activities.
• Deploy actions to maintain production pace and flow.
• Assess, define, and implement continuous‑improvement tasks.
• Create work orders and FI entries according to aeronautical standards.
• Analyse product drawings and generate routings.
• Support production teams with technical queries.

Required profile

• Engineering degree.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Process Engineer in industry, preferably aeronautics.
• English level B1 (mandatory); French B1 is a plus.
• Experience with SAP PE1.
• Familiarity with PFMEA and standard line balancing (SLB).
