Principal Product Procurement Specialist – Remote (Puerto Rico)

About the role

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Principal Product Procurement Specialist to lead complex procurement activities and supplier management for its aerospace supply chain. The role is remote, based in Puerto Rico, and focuses on delivering cost‑effective, high‑quality materials and services to support business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes, including RFP creation, negotiation preparation, and cost analysis.
• Support purchasing of goods, materials, supplies and services, preparing purchase orders and payment approvals.
• Analyze supplier quotations, pricing and financial data to make informed pricing decisions.
• Prepare bid packages and procurement documentation for new business opportunities.
• Monitor supplier and contract performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Respond to customer inquiries on order status, changes, and cancellations.
• Communicate with suppliers to schedule, expedite deliveries and resolve shortages or missed deliveries.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and support reporting and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship or U.S. person status (required to access program information).
• Residence in Puerto Rico at the start of employment.
• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement or supply‑chain experience.
• Ability to work independently under general guidance.
