Principal Product Manager – Strategic Account Interactions (Security Solutions)

About the role

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to be the primary product voice for its Security solutions with the most strategic enterprise customers. You will own the end‑to‑end enhancement request pipeline, turning customer pain points into shipped features while balancing the broader market roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Own and operate a structured system to track, prioritize and move enhancement requests across multiple strategic accounts.
• Translate customer requirements into product specifications and ship capabilities that address both individual and market‑wide needs.
• Partner with product, engineering, sales, customer success and legal teams to deliver roadmap updates, RFP responses and security questionnaires.
• Prioritize requests using frameworks such as RICE, weighted scoring and opportunity sizing, blending data‑driven analysis with sound judgment.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of product management experience, including at least 4 years in B2B enterprise software, with a proven record of revenue impact.
• Deep knowledge of security operations platforms (SIEM, SOAR, XDR) and the ability to discuss detection engineering, log ingestion pipelines and compliance use cases credibly.
• Executive presence to engage C‑suite stakeholders and deliver difficult news while preserving relationships.
• Experience running a multi‑account enhancement request pipeline at scale.
