Principal Brand Designer

About the role

As a Principal Brand Designer at OLX, you will shape the visual experience of the OLX Group and its portfolio of brands across every customer touchpoint. Reporting to the Director of Product Design, you will define visual principles, creative systems and brand standards that balance consistency with each brand’s unique identity.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the Group‑wide brand ecosystem, visual identity systems and governance models.
• Partner with Marketing, Brand Strategy and Product teams to translate business strategy and customer insights into cohesive creative systems.
• Build AI‑ready design workflows, prompt libraries and reusable templates that accelerate production while maintaining craftsmanship.
• Provide creative direction and hands‑on design leadership for product launches, executive communications, employer branding, events and digital experiences.
• Develop documentation, enablement programmes and governance models to ensure global adoption of brand standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in brand or visual design, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong visual identity, typography, layout, storytelling and motion work.
• Proven ability to create scalable design systems and governance frameworks for multi‑brand organisations.
• Strategic thinker who can translate positioning, customer insights and business objectives into measurable design outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leaders without direct authority.

Required skills

• Expertise in Figma.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
