Primary School Teacher (1st Cycle) – Substitute

About the role

The ISP School is seeking a qualified Primary School Teacher for the 1st Cycle to cover a substitution period. The role involves planning, delivering and assessing high‑quality learning experiences for primary students while fostering their academic, social, emotional and personal development in a safe and inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the primary academic programme, ensuring alignment with the school curriculum and pedagogical standards.
• Promote innovative, student‑centred teaching practices and analyse academic results to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate, mentor and evaluate the primary teaching team, identifying professional development needs and supporting training.
• Monitor students’ academic, social and emotional progress, implementing support strategies for those with specific learning needs.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, participating in meetings, conferences and school events.
• Prepare academic and performance reports, coordinate timetables, assessments and school activities, and ensure compliance with internal policies and educational regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licence as required by local regulations.
• Minimum required years of teaching experience in primary education (exact number not specified).
• Experience in bilingual or international schools is an advantage.
