Portuguese Payroll Delivery Senior Associate

About the role

Strada, a people, payroll and technology leader operating in 180+ countries, is hiring a Portuguese Payroll Delivery Senior Associate. The role supports the team that delivers payroll and post-payroll activities and/or data management and customer service, ensuring accurate and on-time output. The position is flexible, covering payroll and/or customer service depending on needs.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll end to end according to agreed calendars, KPIs and deadlines, or carry out data management or customer service work as required
• Support statutory and year-end reporting
• Advise clients on queries using payroll expertise and country-specific legislation
• Mentor apprentices and associates, run knowledge transfer sessions and maintain DWIs
• Respond to tickets and calls within SLAs, support system maintenance testing and report defects
• Liaise with third parties, complete SOC controls and take part in root cause analysis
• Follow security standards, record time accurately and flag deviations from the service scope

Required profile

• BA/BS in a business-related field such as accounting, human resources or business administration, or equivalent education and experience
• 2-3 years of experience administering payroll or health and welfare/benefits in an HR consulting, outsourcing or corporate environment
• Current and future work authorization in the country of application, without visa sponsorship
• Background checks may be required

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Preferred: HRIS knowledge such as Workday, SAP or PeopleSoft
• Preferred: experience with HR and payroll data
