Plant Utilities Operator

About the role

Lilly is seeking a Plant Utilities Operator to run and monitor critical utility equipment supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role ensures reliable operation of systems such as boilers, chillers, compressors, generators and water treatment facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor utilities equipment including boilers, cooling towers, water and glycol chillers, air compressors, emergency generators, nitrogen and air handling systems, lift stations, vacuum and urea systems, DI‑Urea generation, PWEC generation, WWTP and PSM process equipment.
• Report any anomalies or failures to supervisors (Shift Supervisor, Manager or Coordinator) promptly.

Required profile

• Associate degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) or related technical field.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish, strong compliance mindset, and ability to work rotating 24/7 shifts.

Required skills

• Operation of boilers, cooling towers, chillers, compressors, generators and related utility systems.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment and potable water licensing (highly desirable).
