About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Braga at Farmácia Narcisa C. Dias. The Pharmacist will ensure accurate dispensing of prescription and over‑the‑counter medications while providing clear counseling on usage, side effects, and interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications with precision and verify prescriptions for appropriateness.
• Review prescriptions for contraindications and collaborate with prescribers to optimise therapy.
• Manage controlled substances in line with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor inventory levels, expiry dates, and ordering needs to support stock control.
• Support health‑promotion initiatives and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Mentor pharmacy support staff and help maintain a safe, organized, patient‑centred environment.

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacist (or eligibility for licensure) with a degree in Pharmacy and current registration.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, drug interactions and local pharmacy regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with ability to provide empathetic, culturally sensitive care.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform standard pharmacy physical tasks safely.
