Per Diem Registered Nurse

About the role

This position provides direct nursing care before, during, and after procedures on a per‑diem basis. Working under the guidance of the Facility Manager, Director of Nursing, and Charge RN, you will support optimal patient outcomes while adhering to organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain medical histories, perform nursing assessments, and educate patients and families on post‑procedure care.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, especially those receiving moderate sedation or contrast media, and respond to any complications.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and moderate sedation in compliance with physician orders and regulations.
• Act as a scrub technologist, maintaining sterile technique and assisting the physician during procedures.
• Perform point‑of‑care laboratory testing and ensure accurate documentation from admission to discharge.
• Maintain integrity of medical records, support quality improvement initiatives, and participate in emergency response procedures.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Willingness to follow organizational compliance and quality standards.
