PCS Account Developer - South of Portugal

About the role

General Electric Healthcare Portugal is looking for a highly motivated Account Developer to join its PCS (Patient Care Solutions) team. You will drive sales growth and expand market share for patient care solutions within assigned accounts in the south of Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to reach sales targets and grow the installed base of PCS products and services.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in existing and prospective accounts, focusing on unmet customer needs and emerging trends.
• Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, clinical leaders and procurement teams in healthcare organisations.
• Assess customer needs and present tailored solutions aligned with their objectives.
• Work with clinical applications specialists, service teams and product management to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals and handle contract negotiations.
• Monitor competitors and market trends, forecast the sales pipeline and report regularly on performance and account status.
• Take part in industry conferences, trade shows and customer events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven sales experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, preferably in patient monitoring, anesthesia delivery or critical care solutions.
• Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of the Portuguese healthcare market, including purchasing processes and key stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel frequently within Portugal.
