Pastry Cook III – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the culinary team at La Concha Resort, a modern luxury property in Condado, Puerto Rico. As a Pastry Cook III you will lead the pastry station, delivering high‑quality desserts that reflect the resort’s vibrant Latino‑chic style.

Key responsibilities

• Dominate the pastry station and ensure all food preparation is ready for each shift.
• Prepare pastries strictly following supervisor‑approved recipes.
• Set up, clean, and organize the pastry station before every service.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment, work surfaces, and serving areas.
• Check freshness, rotate stock, and monitor ingredient quality.
• Follow all safety and security policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training.
• Foster positive teamwork, uphold professional appearance, and protect confidential information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Hospitality‑oriented mindset with at least 1 year of pastry experience in a hotel or restaurant.
• Pastry certifications are preferred.
• Technical pastry knowledge and ability to handle challenging situations.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lb, and work on uneven surfaces.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
