Packaging Designer – International Retail Agency

About the role

Daymon, the global leader in own‑brand retail solutions, is looking for a Packaging Designer to join its award‑winning International Design Agency in Lisbon. You will work within a multidisciplinary design team, creating innovative packaging concepts for retail brands across multiple markets, with English as the working language.

Key responsibilities

• Develop packaging design proposals from brief to final artwork.
• Conceptualise creative solutions with a strong storytelling focus.
• Present designs to clients and incorporate feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage end‑to‑end projects, ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality output.
• Collaborate with print production teams and stay updated on printing technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in packaging design within an agency or corporate environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution of packaging projects.
• Ability to work strategically, handle client feedback, and deliver solutions for diverse cultural markets.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop, Dimension, InDesign, and Firefly.
• Advanced Mac OS skills.
• Experience with AI‑generated design tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL·E).
• Knowledge of printing technologies and colour management.
• Photography post‑production expertise.
