Operations Support Engineer (French Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Support Engineer who is fluent in French to join our client’s IT team in Portugal. You will be responsible for monitoring production and non‑production environments, handling Level 1 and Level 2 incidents, and contributing to the continuous improvement of system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively monitor production and non‑production systems.
• Handle Level 1 and Level 2 incident tickets and service requests.
• Perform initial diagnostics, follow standard operating procedures, and escalate when necessary.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for environment monitoring and operational planning.
• Collaborate with IT managers to resolve incidents, monitor service quality, and implement technical changes.
• Create and maintain operational documentation and monitoring procedures.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and support activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in technical support or IT Operations (Level 1/Level 2).
• Fluency in French (mandatory).
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as JIRA and GLPI CMDB.

Required skills

• Linux (RHEL) and Windows environments.
• Monitoring tools: Nagios, Centreon.
• Scripting: Bash, PowerShell.
• Data integration and dashboard development using ELK Stack, Kibana, and Grafana.
